Energy sector
In recent years, I have specialised in the area of Energy in connection with communication specialised. But energy is a broad field and has many facets. I have focussed on the following areas:
- Energy efficiency
- Renewable energies
Legislative process
My work concerns, for example, projects that deal with the development of national legislation in these areas. Citizen participation is often enshrined in law but is often not implemented in the way it could be, because in the countries where I mainly work, transparency and citizen participation are not always the rule, even outside of a legislative process. It is my job to support the respective authorities in improving, planning, introducing and implementing such a process.
Awareness Campaigns
The creation and implementation of communication strategies, internal and external communication in authorities that deal with energy is also one of my areas of responsibility. Especially when it comes to energy efficiency, many measures need to be taken to inform the public and other interest groups about the benefits of energy efficiency.
Awareness campaigns in the field of energy efficiency are also part of my portfolio and range from the conception of a brochure to the planning and realisation of a complete campaign.
Renewable energies
Renewable energies are almost always part of a project in various forms. However, especially in the Balkans and in the countries of the former Soviet Union, this area is still in its infancy, which is already changing. In the countries of the Middle and Near East, on the other hand, this area has already become more prominent.
