The most important things about me and my person:
I am Generalist, I never stop learning and developing myself further. The nature of my work requires maximum flexibility. I am always prepared to break new ground. In recent times, for example, I have Discovered the use of artificial intelligence for my new portfolio of services and will devote more time to this topic in future.
I was born on 09.05.1969 in Mannheim. This date indirectly set the direction of my life: The 9 May is or was one of the most important dates in the former Soviet Union: the day of victory over fascism and, in particular, the victory over Nazi Germany. A difficult and at the same time hopeful day for many people all over the world, which still has an important place today and resonates in a special way.
More importantly for me, however 09 May 1950 Robert Schuman, a French member of the French National Assembly, laid the foundation for the subsequent success story of the European Union by making the historic declaration in favour of the new construction of Europe in the form of the European Monetary Union. As I am an advocate of the European idea, this alliance is for me the best thing that could have happened to us all in recent decades, despite all the often named and justified points of criticism.
Why the East?
My love of the Russian language and culture was sparked by a book by Fyodor M. Dostoyevsky, which I read when I was 12 years old. But I was also captivated by many other Russian-language poets and writers, such as Alexei Tolstoy, Mikhail Bulgakov, Nikolai Gogol, Anna Akhmatova, Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov and many more.
My first trip as a 15-year-old pupil with the Starkenburg-Gymnasium from Heppenheim in 1984, back in the days of the Soviet Union and the GDR, enchanted me: Russia, the people and the language captivated me and have not let go to this day. This trip laid the foundation for my curiosity, thirst for adventure and desire to conquer the world. From that point onwards, I moved heaven and earth to be able to spend time in this country. A circumstance that was not very easy for a West German at that time.
At that time, I was also captivated by space travel and to this day I am fascinated by Yuri Gagarin and admire the courage of the first woman in space, Valentina Tereshkova. So I decided to send my new portfolio on an interstellar journey inspired by the pioneers of space.
My expertise - What makes me special?
Everything Russian was my future, that was immediately clear to me, but also the East in general. I managed to learn a lot about the country and about myself during some adventurous stays during my time as a student in Mannheim. Eastern Slavic Studies, Media and Communication Studies and German Studies were my subjects, which I completed with a Master's degree and honours 1996 at the University of Mannheim and paved the way for an eventful and exciting life to date.
But the former Soviet Union was not the end of the story. It was followed by Projects in the Middle East, Turkey, North Africa and other African countries as well as in the Balkans. In both peaceful and turbulent times, my work there was a great enrichment for me. I was able to make many new friends for myself and my life.
In between, I spent a few years on a 'trip' to the Business world as managing director of a mobile phone company in Georgia during a period of political upheaval. After that I was Head of the representative office of a German market research company in Moscow. I was also able to work on various Projects in the mobile communications sector in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Pakistan, among others work together.
So this is me - The sum of my work and life experiences and my knowledge. I have lived and continue to live a great, exciting and eventful life - with ups and downs and special challenges that have made me who I am today.
