“Experienced Energy Policy and Energy Planning Expert with a proven track record and more than 10 years of professional experience in the field of sustainable energy” With an extensive experience in the development and delivery of various projects promoting sustainable development I have built solid expertise with a specific focus around long-term strategic energy planning; policy and strategy, including the assistance to national and local authorities in the development of sector specific strategic documents (e.g. National Energy Policy Document, National Energy and Climate Action Plan 2020-2030, National Strategy for the Development of Statistics 2020-2023; National Energy Efficiency Action Plan and other), national climate submissions to UNFCCC (First and Second BURs, Forth National Communication) and policy research related to energy, sustainable development and climate change mitigation. Through a number of projects I participated in I’ve worked with government, international organizations, IFIs, NGOs and key Donor entities represented in Georgia. I am able to collaborate with senior stakeholders, work with multinational project teams and deliver client focused results.
Currently, I am employed at World Experience for Georgia (WEG), a leading Georgian think tank that does policy research and analysis in the field of energy and environment, and lead its consulting unit “WEG -Energy”.
